Give Yourself a Lyft
- Posted on: Dec 15 2019
Aging isn’t the problem it used to be. While we all know our bodies grow older, this passage of time doesn’t carry the same consequences it once did. We can both feel great and look great as long as we wish. The trick is to know what is needed at what point in time. Here, we discuss the value of Restylane Lyft as one aspect of a balanced anti-aging routine.
About Restylane® Lyft
Restylane Lyft is one of several products in the Restylane family of dermal fillers. All are made with hyaluronic acid and Lyft is one of the most robust fillers used for facial rejuvenation. It is called robust because Lyft has larger gel particles of hyaluronic acid than other Restylane products. It is intentionally made this way to improve the appearance of deep creases between the nose and mouth (or mouth and chin) or to restore contouring to the mid-face. Like many other Restylane products, Lyft is formulated with lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to make injections as comfortable as possible.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a common ingredient used in dermal fillers. This biocompatible chemical is made in the body so is unlikely to stimulate an allergic response. The job of hyaluronic acid in the body is to bind to water molecules. It does this in the joints, the eyes, and the skin. By inserting a hyaluronic acid dermal filler into the skin, we are dictating where water molecules are held for a period of a few months to two years.
Restylane Lyft for a Full-Face Refresh
Physicians and nurse injectors use Restylane Lyft for several areas of the face. This filler is particularly beneficial for facial contouring due to its density. Some of the common uses of Restylane Lyft include:
- Smoothing vertical lip lines
- Decreasing marionette lines and nasolabial folds
- Cheek augmentation
- Augmentation of the jawline
- Nonsurgical rhinoplasty, to correct mild asymmetry or a nasal hump
Like most fillers, Restylane Lyft can be combined with other injectables to achieve more significant rejuvenation.
